General disclaimer
Notice: The EquipSetu marketplace is currently in an active development and pre-launch phase.
The information, materials, and features presented on this website are for informational, preview, and early-access registration purposes only. Nothing contained herein constitutes a legally binding offer, solicitation, or guarantee of service or equipment availability.
While we strive for accuracy, the planned functionalities, equipment inventories, pricing models, and operational structures described may evolve prior to official commercial launch. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk. EquipSetu Technologies Private Limited disclaims all liability for any actions taken or not taken based on the contents of this pre-launch site.
Privacy policy
EquipSetu Technologies Private Limited is the Data Fiduciary for personal data processed through this website, marketplace, account workspaces, support channels, and associated operations. This standalone notice explains what we collect, why we use it, how long we keep it, who may process it, and how to exercise your rights.

3. When processing is permitted
Where consent is the basis, the form provides a separate, plain-language notice and records the notice version, purpose, data categories, time, and method of consent. Some processing is also necessary because you voluntarily ask us to provide a service, to perform an existing order, for employment-related purposes, or to comply with Indian law, court orders, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, safety, or security duties.
4. Consent and withdrawal
Consent is specific to the purpose shown at collection. It is not bundled with optional pilot interest or marketing. You may withdraw a consent through the Privacy Centre as easily as it was given. Withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing. We will stop the consent-based processing within a reasonable time unless continued processing is required or permitted by law; withdrawing account processing may require closure of services that cannot operate without that data.
Consent requests and notices are available in English or an Eighth Schedule language. Select a preferred response language in the Privacy Centre or contact info@equipsetu.co.in before deciding if the displayed notice is not understandable to you.
5. Sharing and processors
We do not sell personal data. Access is limited by role and operational need. We may use contracted processors for infrastructure and database hosting, transactional email through Resend, and payment checkout or verification through Razorpay when you start a payment. We may also disclose data to professional advisers, authorities, courts, or another party where Indian law requires or permits it. Processor contracts must require appropriate security and purpose limits.
6. Transfers outside India
Some contracted technology providers may process data outside India depending on the deployment and provider configuration. EquipSetu will apply applicable Central Government restrictions and any localization requirement that applies to specified data or to EquipSetu if designated a Significant Data Fiduciary.
7. Retention and erasure
- Public contact, careers, early-access, and investor submissions are scheduled for review or erasure after 12 months unless the relationship continues or law requires retention.
- Account data is kept while the account is active, then erased or de-identified when its purposes and mandatory retention periods end.
- Transaction, KYC, tax, invoice, fraud, dispute, and payment records are kept for the period required by applicable law and then securely erased or de-identified.
- Security and processing logs are retained for at least the period required by the DPDP Rules and longer only where another law or an active investigation requires it.
- Privacy-request records may be kept for up to three years after closure to demonstrate handling, unless law requires otherwise.
8. Security safeguards and breaches
Safeguards include encrypted transport, protected credentials, role-based access controls, private document routes, input validation, rate limits, audit logs, backups and recovery planning, restricted administrative permissions, and processor security commitments. No system can promise absolute security. If a personal-data breach occurs, EquipSetu will investigate, contain, preserve required records, and notify affected people without delay and the Data Protection Board in the form and time required by law.
9. Cookies, local storage, and external content
EquipSetu currently uses essential authentication cookies to keep signed-in accounts secure and local browser storage to remember a light or dark theme preference. The theme value does not identify you. We do not currently use advertising cookies or behavioural analytics. Razorpay checkout code and payment processing are activated only when a signed-in user chooses to pay. Links to social networks open their services under their own privacy terms.
10. Children
EquipSetu is a business marketplace intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly create accounts for children or use children’s data for tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising. If you believe a child’s data was submitted, use the Privacy Centre as a parent or lawful guardian; we will verify authority before acting.
11. Your rights and grievance process
You may request access information, correction, completion, updating, erasure, consent withdrawal, grievance redressal, or nomination. Submit through the Privacy Centre. We use an account email, signed-in session, request reference, or another proportionate identifier to verify you; we will never ask for your password. Our published grievance response period does not exceed 90 days. If the grievance is not resolved, you may use the official Data Protection Board information and complaint route.
12. Updates
Material changes will receive a new notice version and, where required, a fresh notice or consent. The version recorded for this policy is 2026-09-20-r2.
